A Note from our President (Winter 2004)

Dear HMCA members and friends:
As I have mentioned before, we regularly receive requests for information and for inclusion in our database from across the country. In an effort to serve as a forum of useful Hispanic information, we continue to cosponsor and develop relevant local and national events. This year we begin with Strategic Research Institute's (SRI) event in January 2004 in Miami Beach. After that, we are cosponsoring the International Quality and Productivity Center's (IQPC) Multicultural Branding 2004 in New York. In early May, we will cosponsor the MFM Innovations in Hispanic Marketing 2004 conference in Miami. There is more information on these events inside. >

I am pleased to tell you that once again, we will raffle a complimentary admission to each one of these events to three lucky HMCA members - a value of more than $1000 for each admission. Attendees will have an opportunity to learn and network with colleagues and professionals from across the country. Other members will benefit from discounts if they wish to attend the events. While I am sharing positive news, please join me in congratulating our long standing board member and website guru Tony Moreno. He will be the marketing director of a Latin American high technology firm. Also, please help me welcome Cris Ascunce, who works in graphic design and technical support at Creative Minds. Lourdes, our new newsletter editor, invited Cris, who volunteered to help us jazz up our newsletter design. Thank you Lourdes and Cris!
