OUR MISSION:To Promote Excellence in Hispanic Marketing

A Note from our President (Fall 2002)
By Elena Del Valle - LNA Worldwide Communications

Dear HMCA members and friends:
As we approach the anniversary of last year's appalling terrorist acts against America, I ask you to set aside a moment to think about what's really important in your life. Think about your quality of life and any promises you made yourself after 9/11, and if you have followed through.

As our HMCA friends and we have encountered challenges in our lives Post 9/11, we have become keenly aware of the importance of living well. I have realized more than ever the importance of showing my appreciation to others, so I want to take this opportunity to thank you our sponsors, partners, members and friends for your thoughts, support, contributions and efforts on our behalf.

I also want to thank our HMCA Board members for their dedication and on-going volunteerism. Thank you Mayra. You are always there to save the day and have a smile for everyone. You make us look good and feel good. Thank you Tony for your big ideas and positivism and for hosting us since our inception on the Huellas site. Thank you Gonzalo for making us think. Thank you Christine for joining us and cheering us on. Thank you Jose for your clear thinking, outspoken contributions always in balance with a great heart. And, thank you Stacey Barber, our part-time lifesaver, for all you do and the kind, giving way in which you do it.

On another note, I’m very excited to tell you, we have moved our website. The new address will be easier to remember and faster to access: www.hmca.org Tony, thank you.

We hope you are enjoying the new and improved InterAcción with a virtual e-mail delivery. We have changed our format in order to keep up with the times; reach you more speedily and efficiently; and save time and resources.

We invite your article ideas and submissions as well as suggestions for other ways we can improve the newsletter. To share them with us please call (305) 648-2848 or email them directly to our editor at mayra@hmca.org
